This spring I ended up on some wonderful adventures thanks to my wonderful friends!

In May I went to Cannes Film Festival with my good friend Sobriety as well as traveling to Berlin for the fetish weekend and ball with my friends Jan Fetishclubpix, Justin Slavery and Lady Kayleigh. I’d really like to use this post to send a huge thanks to them and Rene De Parade of Xclusive event and Tony Mitchell of the Fetishistas for enabling me to be at these events.

Cannes was amazing fun, walking into exclusive parties with no invite and watching the crowds part as the security wave us through- yes you really can fake it til you make it! I think my eccentric dress sense (even when toned down for vanilla events) really impressed the french with their conservative ways! We partied at David Lynch’s club Silencio which had taken up residency in Cannes during the festival, perching itself a top a four star hotel on the roof, looking out across the roof top of the church near by. The pool cum water feature, free punch and fun people made this event a great warm up until some people we spoke with briefly took a runner and the bar staff tried to foot us their 500 euro bill! So it was on to La Baron, the infamous Cannes after party for the famous and the fabulous. Yes it was time for old school tunes, cocktails and dancing a top a baby grand whilst the crowd sang pop tunes, watching the sun rise of the harbor and giggling as somebodies and nobodies blur into one mass of imsohotithurts. With a british sense of humour and a fetishist’s dress sense Cannes was hot, wild and ours, we wove our way between the comedians and cameramen, the dancers and the bouncers. My parting shot of Sobriety is her, astride the back of a teenage boy’s push bike, her black evening dress hiked up around her thighs , disappearing down La Croissette to Brad Pitt’s premier.

Now, Berlin is a magical city with wide streets and liberal people- very au fay with fetish. We drove from Gatwick to Berlin, via Calais- This feels fine on the way there, but on the way home its agony! Though I am sure somewhat worse for our brave driver!
We arrived in the sunshine, weaving our way through the landmarks of Berlin ‘Why is there a giant Unicorn horn in the sky?’ to the famous To.mTo corsetry shop  for fittings and gawping! Then fresh baked bread and to the flat of our absent host. Up several flights of stairs with copious amounts of baggage before going down again to go for groceries! Berlin is beautiful for many reasons but as a lactose intolerant vegetarian the presence of three organic supermarkets stuffed full of tasty goodness within a 5 minute walk was an extra bonus, which just makes this welcoming city even better!
The first night Janushka and myself went to the Fetish Cocktail opener and then on to the Alter Ego masked ball. Traveling abroad can be stressful, you’ve got a new city and a different language to contend with but I found Berlin to be so welcoming and friendly that neither of these daunted me, instead it was all adventure! Arriving at the cocktails I immediately spied London pervs I knew which although not quite the point of driving all this way it was relaxing and made me feel like less of a sore thumb! I’d dolled up in my trans rubber cocktail dress complete with fascinator and hood (naturally!) and the rest of the crowd were in varying states of fetish (un)dress. I was pleased to meet the photographer/ digital artist Tsubasa, the lovely Miss Fuzzy Bunny and a crowd of perverts  from across the globe. Talk was free and the drinks were good, eventually well lubricated we took off with two matching London dollies and the deviant Archon to Alter Ego.
Masks were the order of the evening so Jan and I were expecting plenty of deviant rubberists in lovely latex hoods, but sadly there was but a smattering and so we decided to bring the party to the party! Archon, Henni Claire and myself delighting in creating a scene by playing in the center of the club. Once we’d established the right vibe we continued our perverted pain games in the glass smoking cube, where Claire received a loving round of humiliation and exposure, her face pressed up against the glass of the wall. We then slipped back stage into the play rooms and set about more high jinx and fun which left my breasts bruised for some time once we’d left the city!

In the morning we enjoyed breakfast with the sun streaming in before heading off to the fetish fair to delight in the vast array of stalls and meet more lovely perverts. I started the day in my beautiful Ectomorph day dress before transforming into Synthipup the Rubber Bitch! Both of which went down exceedingly well. Hannah Price was there and as was Peter Felix Kurtz, exhibiting his wonderful rubber photography. It was great to have a poke around the wonderful latex stalls before transforming into Synthipup and sniffing out all the sweet people! I slipped into my catsuit and hood, laced up my corset and ballet boots before Jan put me in my leather mitts and ankle cuffs, my inflatable Slinky Skin tail made for easy wagging and it was off to scamper around! Luckily we found Rene whilst I was in puppy mode and I got to say Hello and get some tummy rubs. Afterwards I traveled home in my catsuit and we went for Sushi (still enclosed!). Yes Berliners really have no issue with this, infact I over heard a German family on the underground having a conversation which goes thusly

Daughter of about 11- What is that girl wearing? *she looks over at me*
Father- She’s wearing latex.
Mother- She must be there for the Fetish weekend. *they look over at me and smile, I nod and smile back*

Yes this normal looking family not only had no issue with this rubbery bald girl but they also had no qualms explaining to their young daughter, quite correctly and with out bias why I was dressed so! So fucking pervfect!

So we returned to the flat for grab our garb for the night and head off to the three parties we had planned that evening! First of all we headed out with Kayleigh and Justin to The Dark Side. A wonderful play club.

There a beautiful woman in a tightly encasing full rubber catsuit carefully laces her slave into a heavy rubber hood as a small gathering of fetishists look on. She stands in the semi dark of an underground dungeon in the center of Berlin, it is well furnished  with dark woods creating an atmospheric torture chamber experience. As my companion and I weave our way through the labyrinth of play rooms we come across a cornucopia of different play spaces and scenes unfolding. There are cells so dark you need to hold your hand in front of you to feel your way around, beautiful wooden stables and countless pieces of in built specialist furniture to keep the dedicated player enthralled till sunrise. That is, if you can bear the smoking! Now, Berlin does not have the same strict smoking rules as I am used to in London and as a non smoker I found it quite hard to adjust to these airless smoky rooms, but I am sure to some they provide a welcome freedom.
We stayed a short while to soak up the atmosphere but avoid the smoke before running off to Insomnia to photograph the shows. Insomnia is was a great venue with plenty of in built play areas and the dance floor was packed. People were well dressed and the high ceilings made the indoor smoking somewhat more bearable! We arrived in time to see Amrita perform a rope suspension with her beautiful husband and slave. Again we bumped into Hannah Price and Peter Felix Kurtz and I was able to see Rene before we left for a quick hello! And, yes it was onwards, rushing across town to try and catch some shows at the infamous Kit Kat Club! We jumped on the tube and wove our way along the streets of Berlin for a while before we found the club. Walking around felt quite safe, even for a rubber clad perv, which I was indeed glad of!
Now the Kit Kat Club is as quirky and crazy as you might have heard, looking like a cross between a tree house and and a fetish club with colorful decor and murals everywhere. There are sprawling rooms to explore including an pool with a lovely pool-side lounge, though I was quite disappointed that they were threatening expulsion to anyone brave enough to jump in- why else did I wear full rubber other than to swim in it? Yet when I put my rubber paw in the pool I understood a little why, yes it really was that bloody cold! Perhaps a day time jaunt is in order next time, yes The Kit Kat Club is open for 72 hours on weekends. I danced my mitts off to the goth tunes which greeted me on one of their many dance floors, a welcome change from the dance music we often have played in London I, a little goth girl at heart enjoyed shimmying along to the likes of Lovecats and the Mission.  The crowd was eclectic and fun though there wasn’t much play going on other than the odd couple rutting in a corner, so not quite as hardcore as I’d been lead to expect! Still the place to settle for the night, prowling around and grooving to the tunes, laughing with the pervs I’d met already through the weekend. Eventually we trucked homeward to rest and reload before the Sunday!

So it was up on Sunday early enough to head out to the Avalon fetish hotel on the outskirts to explore the fetish flea market! Kayleigh and I were both excited, she because she loved the venue and I because the name flea market suggested an affordability I’d missed at the fetish fair! So we drove through the maze of an industrial estate before parking and walking through the gate into a perverts paradise. There were views of the lake where people were boating were I was told you were allowed to swim  and a courtyard bustling with little stalls selling second hand fetish gear, home baked goods and a BBQ. I managed to pick up some amazing bargains including a rubber jacket cum straight jacket for thirty euros and some spikey rubber cushions for only five euro! I was very pleased! The hotel itself is amazing, with so many facilities any fetishist’s dream can come true, including dark hay lined cells, stables, a kennel, a large barn for suspension, a confessional, cells in the floor and prison cells! Up stairs there are decadent bedrooms equipped with suspension hooks and the likes as well as a classroom and medical room. There is also a bar and kitchen for use whether thats as a private party or whilst your staying as a guest.

That evening naturally we made our way to the German Fetish Ball, myself decked out at the Synthicorn, representing England, her queers and queens. We arrived just in time to catch the fabulous fashion show which presented talent from across the globe including Am Statik of England and  HW Designs of Austria with models including Ancilla Tilla and Anna Rose. The wonderful venue was reminiscent of SE1 in London, being nestled under rail way arches and so enjoying a labyrinthine feel with several dance floors and rooms to explore. Thankfully this venue sported an outdoors smoking area which not only provided those who didn’t smoke with smog free dance floors but also provided the heavier rubberists (this event had many) a chance to cool off! The music was great, again my goth cred came in handy for finding my favorite dance floor and staying there, so good was the selection. Over all a wonderful party with a great selection of people and a fantastically high percentage of people in latex (this always gets good marks from me!) though one thing which was lacking was play space, there was a small play area for couples only, though whilst I was there it wasn’t so well attended and felt a little lacking in equipment. As we left I was able to thank Rene again and congratulate him on his wonderful event. And so it was off, into the night, to leave the next morning for cloudier climbs.
