A year on from our first performance we since recruited several new members to the fold and have we’re able to create an even more powerful ritual to mark this year’s Semana Santa. With a grand total of seven people involved it was fitting that Torture Garden had expanded their Easter Celebrations to the illustrious Ministry of Sound venue. We arrived early to scout out the location and bless the stage in preparation for our rubber ritual of perverted penitence. We were to perform as the clock struck twelve, marking our passage into Good Friday and opening the Easter Celebrations with the correct reverence and debauchery.
The club was already heaving with potential converts and hardened fetishists as we began our parade to the stage in our full rubber penitential regalia, bearing our implements of penance and our purely perverted hearts. Our lit candles brought light to the club and illuminated the space, making way for Semana Santa. Reverently we made our way to the stage in a long shining line of polished black latex. We took our places upon the stage as the chimes of Good Friday blew forth and Sister Cynth Icorn and Sister Ruby Soho raised their sacred penitential floggers above their heads and waited. Then in a second they both fell and began lashing their backs with great fervor, eventually pausing with great ceremony to raise their floggers above their heads again, their suffering an offering, to fall again into a delirium of passionate pain. Again they pause, arms outstretched and backs bearing the marks of their penitence, before Sister Ana Mantis and Sister Kim Rub came forward to perform the second half of the ritual, armed with the sacred candles of light they stood over the girls and poured the hot wax across their backs, turning to each member of the Cult to take their candles and continue the ritual. As the hot wax hit their skin our pious Pententes remained focused and endured in the name of the Cult.
