I’d really like to use this opportunity to tell you all about one of my favorite rubber designers and a good friend of mine- Krystina Kitsis of Ectomorph London.
Krystina makes the most beautiful, well tailored couture latex and is a real corner stone of the english rubber movement. Trained at Central St Martins (like myself) Krystina takes a traditional approach towards rubber clothing, both stitching and gluing her garments, creating a unique, well constructed piece which really does last and last. With her specialist dress making skills she goes the extra mile making items which really stand out at any event- vanilla or fetish! Yes, Krystina’s work is so wearable that you can even get away with it outside of the scene- my Ectomorph summer dress stood out beautifully and was very well received at Cannes Film Festival. She’s been on the cover of countless high fashion magazines including Vogue and Elle, showing just how haute couture she is! Do have a peek on her website or visit her rail in the Atsuko Kudo shop! Krystina has a wonderful range of designs and will happily do custom work or made to measure garments! Ectomorph really is a rubberist’s dream investment. I adore my piece.
