Public Total Enclosure in Central London…with cake!

So, it was midwinter which to me felt like the perfect time to layer up and hit the streets of Soho, taste some fudge, hit a gallery and go for a some cake. I roped the fantastic Danielle Shaw to come along and take pictures so I could show you all what I got up to! Yes my friends there’s total rubber enclosure, public hooding, high heels, ballet heeled walking, and CAKE! My good friend Krystina Kitsis of Ectomorphe supplied the beautiful couture latex wear to compliment my cinched waist, thigh high leather boots and my favorite Slinky Skin catsuit! Danielle capture the sexy fun we had that day purvfectly, and I can only offer my biggest thanks to Patrick Cox who’s deviant cake shop Coxx Cookies and Cakes we spent the afternoon frolicking in. Patrick himself even popped in to say ‘Hi!’ and admire my shoes! Afterwards I topped off the evening by meeting with a fellow rubberist for drinks and getting smashed (still enclosed) and confusing more businessmen. Hurray!

Cynth Icorn at London Fetish Fair!

Cynth Icorn interviewed at London Fetish Fair by PashArt. The London Fetish Fair is a great little event hosted at Shillibeers in Kings Cross. It goes on a with a little after party at the end with play equipment and a bar. Shillibeers serves good food during the day and the stalls are full of good quality fetish toys, clothing and equipment. I’d just been roused from my sleep by friends who had crashed at House after a party, when I discovered they were going to The LFF I decided to tag along, considering it was masked themed that month I couldn’t really say no! So I grabbed my rubber and headed out the door! It was lots of fun, I saw lots of people I knew and enjoyed dreaming after some lovely latex outfits which were on display. My friend’s Kobal and bratt had a stall with their pneumatic fetish equipment on display and so I was able to have a go on their caning machine which is rather cool and can deliver quite a thwack! I had a lovely chat with Krystina Kitsis who runs the phenomenal Ectomorphe latex as well as lots of other good friends.

By and large I get a highly positive reaction although when people don’t get it entirely you can have some amusing reactions.

After taking my hood off for a breather a lovely girl said ‘You’re very pretty you don’t need to hide your face’ to which I smiled and replied ‘Its not because I want to hide my face, its because I enjoy wearing it!’ I find most anxiety or confusion can be cured with a smile and an explanation.

Larvatus Prodeo often carries a bag of hoods around with him to clubs and lets people try them on, its wonderful seeing so many people over coming perhaps initial anxiety and enjoying wearing them. At times we have trouble getting them back and often people ask where they are from. A foot on the right path indeed!

Currently my fave is my white Slinky Skin hood which I had custom made for me, its very comfortable and white latex is much less common than black. The mouth hole is particularly flattering and there is space for my ears and nose and no evil jaw ache!

Last year I wore my Black Rubber 55 hood with custom eye holes lots and lots, the rubber was thinner so it was quite comfortable and the pattern is very flattering. Sadly it needs a little healing before I can wear it out again.

What ever you do, do it masked!
